Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and GraspIO Cloudio Break New Ground

Two Pieces of Pi for the Price of One!

In honor of pi Day, we’re serving up some Raspberry pi goodness! First up, Peter Wenzel (Newark element14) dishes about the features of the newly launched Raspberry pi 3 Model B+. Peter and I chat about the Model B+ modular compliance certification, the details of a new Raspberry pi starter kit, and how power over ethernet is coming to the Raspberry pi ecosystem. In the second part of our pi coverage, Hari Kalyanaraman (Newark element14) brings us the goods on GraspIO Cloudio – a new Raspberry pi expansion board with a mobile platform for end-to-end IoT development and deployment. In this week’s Kickstarter corner, we take a look at a new innovative way to clean up the Chicago River. (Spoiler Alert: It involves video games and remote-controlled boats!)
