Saelig Introduces Consultix SiteWizard MTM-427 3.2GHz Cable and Antenna Analyzer

This economical compact sweep tester is designed for field use with the same performance and accuracy of conventional and more expensive, larger cable and antenna analyzers.
Fairport, NY: Saelig Company, Inc. has introduced the Consultix SiteWizard™ MTM-427 Cable and Antenna Analyzer with a frequency range from 400 to 2700MHz (optionally 100MHz to 3.2GHz), which covers wireless bands serving 2G (GSM), 3G (UMTS), 4G (LTE), as well as 2.4GHz WiFi. The 4.3” touch screen enables rapid, easy measurements with multiple UI features to sort, review, and compare graphs and readings. Measurement modes include VSWR, Return Loss, Cable Loss, and DTF with a specified Distance To Fault range of up to 5000 ft.
Maintaining the same performance and accuracy of conventional larger cable and antenna Analyzers, the SiteWizard MTM-427 addresses the practical user needs for a heavy-duty, handy tool with maximum reliability against typical field accidents and faults. The durability of SiteWizard’s design provides maximum RF overload protection and shock-proof, ruggedized construction, while its convenience provides ease of use, intuitive user interface, flexible test accessibility, and compactness to help service even the most difficult test situations.  The MTM-427 is a ruggedized network analyzer that overcomes the issues with conventional cable and antenna analyzers, which often experience failure either due to common mistakes, such as reverse RF power or the typical accidents inherent in using fragile instruments in tough environments.  This is the first cable and antenna tester in its class to feature both quick and precise sweep testing along with a spectrum analyzer option, all housed in a lightweight shock-protected unit. The included SiteAuditor PC software also provides a very practical tool for measurement processing and professional reporting.
The SIteWizard’s sturdy aluminum housing is compact (7.2” x 5.4” x 1.4”) and lightweight (1.8lb including battery). The included SiteAuditor PC software is a very practical tool for measurement processing and professional reporting.
The SiteWizard’s features include: user-friendly touch-interface display, one second calibration and measurements, internal and external storage, professional reporting software, cable and frequency band database. Ideal applications for SiteWizard include: BTS Site installation, commissioning, and acceptance, BTS site maintenance, Distributed Antenna Systems validation (DAS sweep testing), small cell installations, antenna certification, cable and feeder certifications, etc.
The SiteWizard MTM-427 has been designed to improve the efficiency of network rollout engineers, RF site installers and acceptance engineers, commissioning and maintenance engineers. operation and maintenance) engineers, RF, RAN and field engineers, telecom sub-contractors and service companies, etc. The SiteWizard family’s field-convenience, swift operation, and value-for-money make it the product of choice for telecom operators, vendors and service integrators who need reliable measurements at economical price.
Since its founding in 2005, Consultix has re-defined and grown the market of telecom field test equipment for applications all over the world, for operators, network vendors, and system integrators. The Consultix SiteWizard™ MTM-427 Cable and Antenna Analyzer is available now from Saelig Company, Inc. Fairport NY their USA technical distributor.
