Pasternack Introduces New Lines of RF and Microwave Waveguide Directional Couplers

Irvine, CA – Pasternack, a leading manufacturer and supplier of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, introduces a brand new family ofwaveguide directional couplers displaying highly accurate performance up to 33 GHz. These waveguide couplers are commonly used for signal sampling and other general purpose applications in wireless transmit/receive systems, satellite communications, radar systems, point-to-point backhaul and telecom.

Pasternack’s latest release of waveguide directional couplers consists of 74 unique models spanning a frequency range of 5.85 GHz to 33 GHz across eight popular frequency bands. The couplers are offered in two physical configurations including “Crossguide” and “Broadwall” versions and come with either UG-style or CPR-style flanges.

Pasternack’s new waveguide directional couplers are offered in various waveguide sizes from WR-137 to WR-34 and are offered in 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 dB coupling levels with full waveguide operational bandwidth. These waveguide couplers also boast low insertion loss and typical VSWR of 1.05:1. These couplers are constructed using rugged copper alloy.

“Pasternack’s rapidly growing portfolio of waveguide components is purposely designed to meet the increasing demands of the industry across a broad range of frequencies,” says Mark Blackwood, Passive Components Product Manager at Pasternack. “This selection of couplers adds a full complement of mid and lower frequency couplers to our already existing lines of high frequency waveguide couplers.

All of the new waveguide couplers from Pasternack are in-stock and ready to ship now.
