VadaTech Announces Suite of One Slot 3U VPX Development Chassis (VITA 66.5/66.4/67.2/KVPX)

Henderson, NV – June 12, 2019 – VadaTech, a leading manufacturer of integrated systems, embedded boards, enabling software and application-ready platforms, announces the VTX980/981/982. These are single slot 3U VPX chassis with 750W AC power supply for board bring-up and testing of 3U VPX modules. The VTX980 has all connectors P0 to P6 installed and routed from front to rear, with optional high-performance KVPX connectors. TheVTX981 has connectors P0 to P2 installed with options for VITA 66.5 or VITA 66.4. The VTX982 has connectors P0/P1 installed and the P2 connector location populated with a 4-position VITA 67.2 coaxial/RF module.

All of these chassis can accept a front and a rear module (5HP or 10HP). The panels on both the front and rear slots are removable for ease of probing and debugging. They can also be placed on bench in both horizontal and vertical positioning for ease of access.

Additional key features include; variable fan speed control for front and rear; removable panels for ease of access for probing; support for Rear Transition Modules (RTMs); provision for attachment of a shelf manager for health monitoring; JTAG connector; user setting of SYSRESET and NVMRO; on board battery pack to provide the VBAT.
