Pixus and COMINT Consulting Collaborate to Enhance Ruggedized Emerson/NI SDRs

New Signal Decoding Software Option Boosts Capabilities
Waterloo, Ontario  —  Apr 1, 2025 –  Pixus Technologies, a provider of embedded computing and enclosure solutions, offers Emerson (Ettus Research brand) USRP Software Defined Radios (SDRs) in ruggedized versions.  COMINT Consulting provides superior signal decoding and analysis software/firmware for SIGINT & COMINT.  The combined solution provides tailored waveform monitoring/control options for a wide range of applications.
The Pixus-ruggedized Emerson SDRs in the RX310 and RX410 versions are ideal for Electronic Warfare, SIGINT,  COMINT, and other applications.  Working seamlessly with the Krypto1000 VHF-SHF and satellite software suite, the SDRs can perform all of the functions of the SIGINT mission: Control, Collection, Precision Classification, Demodulation and Decoding, Parsing and even Decryption with the KeyFinder option.
The SDRs are designed to allow the units to be used in wider temperature ranges up to –40C to +71C, are fully IP67 sealed, and it areas with higher shock and vibration.  The ruggedized SDRs have been qualified to meet MIL810 and MIL461.
Pixus also offers the NI B210, N310, X310, and other SDRs in IP67 weatherproof and MIL rugged formations. The company also provides small form factor (SFF) customized designs per customer’s specifications as well as VITA standard architectures.
