Panasonic Industry Battery Finder: Smart tool for searching batteries

The Battery Finder is designed for developers and engineers seeking the right batteries during the design-in-process of their projects. It provides an overview of the entire assortment of Panasonic Industry batteries and finds the right battery for every application. A revised version is now available.

Munich, December 2019: The new Battery Finder features numerous  useful functions – including three powerful search options:
The Parametric Search allows the combination of parameters to generate every conceivable search profile. In addition, the user receives suggestions on the basis of a smart algorithm that takes previous searches into account.
The Application Search finds an exact selection on the basis of empirical values of hundreds of application types.
In the Model Number Search the user can find a particular battery in real time, even if only part of the product number is known.
In addition to listing suitable cells with their technical properties, all searches also provide additional images, dimensional drawings or even videos for some of the products.

Other highlights include the management of favorites with a smart comparison function, a detailed battery glossary and a large selection of documents for download (handbooks, leaflets, data sheets, white papers, certificates, etc.).

A registration is not necessary to ensure fast access to all relevant information. The Battery Finder is accessible to all interested users of the Panasonic Industry website here.

A short informative video clip is also available here.

The Cryptography Handbook

Sponsored by Maxim Integrated

The Cryptography Handbook is designed to be a quick study guide for a product development engineer, taking an engineering rather than theoretical approach. In this series, we start with a general overview and then define the characteristics of a secure cryptographic system. We then describe various cryptographic concepts and provide an implementation-centric explanation of physically unclonable function (PUF) technology. We hope that this approach will give the busy engineer a quick understanding of the basic concepts of cryptography and provide a relatively fast way to integrate security in his/her design.
