Newark Adds Tabor Electronics to Leading Test and Measurement Portfolio

Extensive range now in stock and available for fast shipping from Newark

Chicago – March 23, 2021: Newark, an Avnet Company and global distributor of electronic components, products and solutions, has added Tabor Electronics to its test and measurement portfolio. Tabor offers an extensive range of high performance, high reliability signal sources, RF, pulse, function and arbitrary waveform generators, and high-voltage amplifiers. The range helps design engineers improve efficiency and accuracy in testing, speeding up the design process and enabling faster debugging, leaving more time to focus on essential design tasks. Tabor’s market leading range is widely used in the communications, aerospace, defense, automotive and education markets.

The new agreement with Newark greatly improves the availability of Tabor products to customers across North America; and Newark is the only distributor with Tabor’s DST range in-stock ready to ship next day. Newark also offers design engineers a one-stop shop including high-end products for heavy duty use right through to affordable budget-conscious equipment. The Tabor range, now available from Newark, includes:

  • Lucid Series Benchtop RF Signal Generators: Available in four form factors, the Lucid series is ideal for use in research and development, university labs, radar test and intermodulation testing. Users also benefit from the increased flexibility provided by the remote operation software via MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW and others which enable programming to be completed remotely.
  • Arbitrary Function Generators and Signal Amplifiers: Tabor’s DST line of arbitrary function generators and signal amplifiers offer greatly increased channel density and increased output voltage, all from a small form factor reducing the product footprint.

James McGregor, Global Head of Test, Tool and Production Supplies at Newark, said: “Newark is constantly striving to bring the very best in test and measurement products to our customers. We are very excited to partner with Tabor who make highly sophisticated signal generators and amplifiers, widely used in RF Test. This new agreement greatly expands Tabor’s reach in North America and brings a range of top-quality test products to our customers from stock, with fast-shipping and free delivery on orders over $150.”

Tabor Electronics is celebrating 50 years in the industry in 2021 and is a significant player in the signal source market. Tabor is recognized as a world-leading provider of high-end signal sources, featuring RF, pulse, function and arbitrary waveform generators/transceivers, high-voltage amplifiers, waveform and modulation creation software.

Newark’s extensive test and measurement portfolio, including suppliers such as Tabor, enables customers to test better, faster and safer through access to the market’s most sophisticated products. In addition to next-day shipping, customers also benefit from Newark’s in-house team of test experts on hand to support with any technical enquiry.

The Tabor test and measurement product range is available now from Newark in North America.
