Improve Datacenter Throughput and Storage up to 11TB with Micron’s 9200 NVMe SSDs, Now at Mouser

April 26, 2019 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the 9200 Series of NVM Express™ (NVMe™) solid state drives (SSDs) from Micron. One of the first NVMe SSDs on the market with a capacity exceeding 10 TB, the 9200 SSDs offer high capacity, fast speeds, and low latency for high-performance functions such as application and database acceleration, online transaction processing (OLTP), high-frequency trading, and high-performance computing.

The Micron 9200 Series SSDs, available from Mouser Electronics, blend the capabilities of 3D NAND and NVMe technologies for enterprise storage. The devices are built on an innovative architecture that combines NVMe protocols on a PCIe connection to deliver fast enterprise flash performance up to 10 times’ faster than SATA SSDs, plus 3D NAND high-density storage that conserves power and rack space. The 9200 SSDs deliver sequential read/write transfer speeds up to 5.5 and 3.5 GBytes per second, with random read/write transfer speeds up to 900K and 275K input/output operations per second (IOPS) to turn data into information with low latency and high performance.

The Micron 9200 includes three endurance classes: 9200 PRO is designed for read-centric use at roughly one drive write per day (DWPD) with capacities from 1.9 TB to 7.6 TB, while the 9200 MAX supports mixed-use workloads at about three DWPD in capacities from 1.6 TB to 6.4 TB. The 9200 ECO drives offer the highest capacities at 8 TB or 11 TB and are designed for fewer than one DWPD.

The Micron 9200 SSD family is designed as the storage foundation for the Micron SolidScale™ platform, providing greater capacity for more efficient workload optimization and reducing total cost of ownership. With the 9200, SolidScale will be capable of over 250 TB per node, scaling over 5 PB per rack of one of the highest performance NVMe SSD available in shared storage today.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
