High-Performance 40 Watt DC/DC Converter adds dual output models (±12 / ±15 / ±24 VDC)

Convection-cooled thermal-block design for Railway and Industrial Applications

San Jose, Calif. – August 29, 2019 – TRACO POWER extends their TEQ 40 Series of 40 watt railway / rugged industrial DC/DC converters with dual outputs of ±12 / ±15 / ±24VDC.

The TEQ 40WIR are a series of isolated high-performance railway DC/DC-converter modules with ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges. The series is comprised of 21 models offering 9-36 / 18-75 / 43-160 V input ranges and outputs of 5 / 12 / 15 / 24 / ±12 / ±15 / ±24VDC. High efficiency of 87-88% combined with thermal-block construction allows a convection / full-load operating temperature range of -40°C to +83°C (up to +93ºC with power derating). Features include: 2,250 VDC I/O Isolation; under voltage lockout; over temperature protection; and short circuit protection. Series is qualified for EN 61373 / MIL-STD-810 for mechanical shock, thermal shock and vibration. Models are safety approved to UL/IEC/EN 60950-1 (CB Report) and EN50155 with an internal filter for EN 55032 class B conducted and radiated emissions, supported by TRACO POWER’s 3-year warranty.

Products are in stock and available through the TRACO POWER global distribution network with manufacturing lead times of 12-14 weeks. Please see www.tracopower.us/teq40 for specifications, drawings and safety documentation.
