EAO Introduces Enhanced Series 57 Tri-Color Version

Features multi-status indication with tri-color LED illumination
Shelton, Conn., July 2022 – EAO, the expert partner for innovative, intuitive and reliable Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), has extended its Series 57 with a new tri-color illumination version for door opening pushbuttons in public transport that allows for mutli-visual feedback indications.

With the tri-color version of the Series 57 door opening pushbutton, a third color can now be displayed in the outer feedback ring by the addition of two new LEDs. These new indicators, along with the standard two feedback rings of individual illumination, make it possible to indicate additional warnings such as ‘door fault’ or a ‘door closing and opening’ by means of independent, flashing LEDs.

Advantages of the Tri-Color Version

  • Tri-color, individual LED illumination of the feedback rings
  • Extra-large Ø 74 mm operating area
  • Raised symbols conform to TSI PRM & ADA
  • Consistent look & feel of Series 57 product family
User-friendly features include an extra-large Ø 74 mm operating area and two independently illuminated feedback rings that fully comply with EN 14752. The additional user benefits of the raised symbols (conform to TSI PRM & ADA) make this unique “all-in-one” door opening pushbutton the best in class. Furthermore, the optical, tactile and acoustic feedback is reliable and intuitive for end users.
