ADLINK Technology Showcasing Predictive Maintenance and Network Functions Virtualization Solutions at Upcoming Intel Developer Forum (IDF16)

SAN JOSE, CA – August 9, 2016 – ADLINK Technology, Inc., a leading provider of embedded building blocks and Application-ready Intelligent Platforms (ARIPs) for the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), invites attendees to learn about our IIoT and communications offerings at this year’s IDF16, August 16-18, at West Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA, in IoT Community Booth 113 and Intel Builders Community Booth 173.

IoT Community Booth 113 – Operational Excellence Through Edge Analytics

We will be showing predictive maintenance for the smart factory with ADLINK’s PMQi solution, which includes ADLINK’s MXE-200i cognitive gateway, SETO-1000 industrial appliance, PrismTech Vortex Data Distribution Services (DDS) and IBM PMQ analytics and modeling software. The demonstration features a simulated conveyor belt environment in which data is fed from multiple devices to an intelligent gateway and processed at the edge to create actionable information.

  • Stop by the Networking Plaza at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 16 for a presentation on the benefits of predictive maintenance and edge analytics in achieving operational excellence in manufacturing environments.

Intel Builders Community Booth 173 – MICA: Modular Industrial Cloud Architecture

We will be demonstrating our cloud architecture for Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Mobile Edge Computing (MEC). The demo will feature a virtualized security application by Trend Micro that includes our network appliances and edge computing devices based on MICA and vCPE using Wind River Titanium Server (TiS), as well as hardware and/or software from partners Brocade, RiverBed, Check Point and Saguna.
