Groschopp, Inc. Currently Offers Specially Designed 1 Horsepower AC Controls

Sioux Center, IA, June 23, 2016 – Groschopp, Inc. has released 1 hp AC controls that have been designed to reduce slip and increase efficiency when matched with Groschopp motors and gearmotors. The DA1230K-4X sports an industrial duty die-cast aluminum case with hinged cover (NEMA 4X) with a motor HP selection jumper; DA1230k-0 has its own industrial mounting (chassis) with a finger-safe cover that is simple to operate and has MOV transient suppression. Along with these attributes, both of these 1 hp AC controls contain the following:

  • Slip compensation

  • Motor overload I2T

  • Electric inrush current limit

  • Short circuit protection

  • Input voltage options: 115/208/230 at 50/60 Hz.

  • Undervoltage/overvoltage protection

For over 80 years, Groschopp Inc. has delivered expert technical assistance, superior product performance, quality-honed workmanship and industry experience in the manufacture of highly engineered fractional horsepower electric motors and gear motors for OEM and distribution products. With products designed and manufactured in the USA, Groschopp offers a full line of AC, DC, brushless DC and universal motors—as well as Brushless controls—that can be combined with right angle worm, planetary, right angle planetary or parallel shaft gearboxes.
