Solar Express 100 (SE100) PCIe Virtex® Ultrascale FPGA Card with HPC FMC and 4 x CFP4

Kane Computing are pleased to announce the release of Sundance DSP Inc’s Solar Express 100 (SE100) PCIe Virtex® Ultrascale FPGA Card with HPC FMC and 4 x CFP4 board, which uses Xilinx Virtex Ultrascale FPGA and can be populated with 095, 125, 160 and 190 devices in C2104 package. Host interface is via 8 lanes of PCIe Gen3 but can be used as an embedded card too. SE100 offers a host of features to support high speed networking and processing. Adding FMC and ZRay modules brings additional capabilities. The FMC port offers up to 10 GTHs (16.3Gb/s) and 40 IOs. The ZRay module port provides 16 GTYs (16 x 30.5Gb/s) and 8 IO plus 12V/5A, 3.3V/16A, and VCCIO/1A. A 4GB HMC memory module with 2 links (16 GTH per link) for concurrent access can be added. This will enable fastest memory access by the FPGA. 18MB of QDR2+ memory comes as standard. 4 Fire-fly connectors (4xGTYs each) cater for silicon-to-silicon connectivity and for data transfer at high speed and very long distance (fiber optics). An HDMI port allows direct display of images while 4xGTYs and clock on a Samtec Bull’s Eye connector gives more flexibility for data import/export.
