Avalue introduces SLP-SKL, EMX-Q170 and EAX-Q170, based on the 6th generation Intel® Core™ processor family

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, September 3rd, 2015 – Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), a global embedded computing solution provider and an associate member of the Intel® Internet of Things Solutions Alliance, is unveiling SLP-SKL, EMX-Q170 and EAX-Q170, based on the 6th generation Intel® Core™ processor family. The 6th generation Intel® Core™ processor family (codename Skylake) is a brand new micro-architecture built on Intel’s 14nm manufacturing process. The new 6th generation Intel® Core™ processor family offers dramatically higher CPU and graphics performance, a wide range of power and feature scalability, and new advanced features that boost IoT designs from the edge to the cloud. 
 
SLP-SKL, the Fanless Expendable Controller (SlotPC), support two 260pin DDR4 SODIMM system memory with up to 16GB capacity per SODIMM. Easy to extend by connecting IET (Intelligent Expansion Technology) expansion module and support Multi-COM Isolation, Multi-LAN bypass module, HDMI and DVI-D module. SLP-SKL support dual display configurations: DP+DVI-I. The I/O deployment includes one Mini PCI-e ports (supports mSATA), two 2.5″ drive bay, one CFast, four USB3.0ports, two USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, 16CH isolated DIO, Realtek ALC892 audio jack supports 5.1-CH, two LAN ports with Intel I210AT and Intel i219LM, 2 PS/2 for KB & MS, three PCI and one PCI-e x16 expansion slots, makes various requirements of embedded applications possible. The SLP-SKL is compatible with a wide range of Operating Systems. It supports iAMT 11.0 and TPM Function and is designed to meet the needs of the following markets: factory automation, transportation systems, communication systems and automation.
 
EMX-Q170, the embedded Mini ITX industrial motherboards, supports two 260-pin DDR4 2133MHz SODIMM system memory with up to 16GB capacity per SODIMM. EMX-Q170 supports Triple display. The I/O deployment includes, One Full/Half Size Mini PCI-e with mSATA Support (SATA III), one SIM card slot and One Full/Half Size Mini PCI-e support WiFi module, one PCI-e x16, four USB 3.0, six USB 2.0, six COM port, six SATA III(one switch by jumper for mSATA) and 8-bit GPIO, Realtek ALC892 audio jack supports 5.1-CH. Two LAN ports with Intel i211AT and Intel i219LM, Onboard Infineon SLB9665 support TPM 2.0, makes various requirements of embedded applications possible. EMX-Q170 is a high end performance with better power management and it comes to more power-conscious platforms product that will fit into applications, including gaming industrial, Retail, digital signage, Medical, ATM machine and SMB storage & surveillance.
 
EAX-Q170, the embedded ATX industrial motherboards, supports four 288-pin DDR4 2133MHz DIMM system memory with up to 16GB capacity per DIMM. EAX-Q170 supports Triple display configurations: HDMI + DP + VGA (via eDP chip). The I/O deployment includes One Full/Half Size Mini PCI-e with mSATA Support (SATA III),one M.2 2230 Slot support WiFi module, one SIM card slot, six SATAIII, one PCI-e x16, one PCI-e x4, one PCI-e x1, four PCI, six USB3.0 , six USB2.0, and 8-bit GPIO, Realtek ALC892 audio jack supports 5.1-CH. Two LAN ports with Intel i211AT and Intel i219LM, Onboard Infineon SLB9665 support TPM 2.0, makes various requirements of embedded applications possible. EAX-Q170 is a high end performance with better power management and it comes to more power-conscious platforms product that will fit into applications, including gaming industrial, Retail, digital signage, Medical, ATM machine and SMB storage & surveillance.
