Avalue introduces new BSW series Embedded Boards – EBM-BSW, EQM-BSW and ESM-BSW, based on Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, July 1st, 2015 – Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), a global embedded solution provider and an associate member of the Intel® Internet of Things Solutions Alliance, is introducing the 5.25-inch Single Board Computer – EBM-BSWQseven Solution –EQM-BSW and COMe Solution – ESM-BSW, based on Intel® Braswell – M/D Processor Family. The Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family are based on Intel’s 14nm architecture for entry systems, which is proved 2x graphics performance improvement, Up to 16% battery life improvement, better I/O support, and better performance at low thermals with previous generations.

EBM-BSW 5.25-inch Single Board Computer is powered by Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family and supports one 204-pin DDR3L 1600 MTs SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB capacity. EBM-BSWoffers a multiplicity of I/O involving 3 x RS-232, 2 x RS-232/ 422/ 485, 1 x SATA III, 2x Mini PCIe (one supporting mSATA and one SIM card supports USB 2.0 interface), 4 x USB 3.0, 3 x USB 2.0 and 16-bit GPIO among others. EBM-BSW has dual Gigabit Ethernet: 2 x RealTek RTL8119 and dual displays with resolutions of HDMI mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz and LVDS mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Audio interface is provided with 1 x Realtek ALC233 HD codec. EBM-BSW supports +12 ~ 26V wide power range.

EQM-BSW Qseven Solution is powered by Intel® dual or quad-core Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family and supports onboard DDR3L 1600 SODIMMsystem memory with up to 8GB capacity. EQM-BSW offers a multiplicity of I/O involving 2 x SATA ports to baseboard, 5 x USB 2.0 (one is option to USB convert CAN), 1 x USB 3.0 to baseboard, 3 x PCIex1, onboard eMMC up to 64GB, 1 x LPC, 1 x SMBux, 1 x I2C, UART, 1 x CAN Bus and Qseven spec 2.0connector for expansions. One RealTek RTL8119 and dual displays with resolutions of HDMI mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz and LVDS mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Audio interface is provided with Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® SoC integrated.

ESM-BSW COMe Solution is powered by Intel® dual or quad-core Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family and supports one 204-pin DDR3 SODIMMsystem memory with up to 8GB  DDR3L 1333/1600 SDRAM capacity. For I/O ports, ESM-BSW offers 8 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.0, 2 x SATA III, 1 x UART, 1 x 8bit GPIO, 1 x SMBus, 1 x LPC, 1 x I2C and 3 x PCIex1. One RealTek RTL8119 and Triple displays with resolutions of VGA mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz, LVDS mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz and DP mode: 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz. Audio interface is provided with Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® SoC integrated. ESM-BSW supports +9 ~ 19V wide power range.

Avalue’s Braswell platform board brings enhanced improvement in graphics throughput, display resolutions 4K2K (3840 x 2160), additional media codecs, and improved media acceleration. Also optimized architecture reduces platform Bill of Materials (BOM) cost with less voltage rails, less routing, and less power management complexities compared to previous generation. The Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family products are designed for intelligent systems and internet of things applications, such as Retail Systems, Thin Clients, Printers, Embedded PC and Medical Systems.

  • Dual Channel 24-bit LVDS + HDMI

  • 2 SATA, Onboard eMMC up to 64GB (Optional)

  • Fanless Operation

  • Standard Termperature: 0 ~ 60°C

ESM-BSW main features:

  • COMe Compact Module with Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® Processor N3000 Series SoC Processor
