Saelig Introduces Advanced, Economical 9kHz – 3GHz Spectrum Analyzer – low cost, easy-to-use RF test tool with high-end specs

Fairport, NY, USA: Saelig Company, Inc.(www.saelig.com) has introduced the GA4063 Spectrum Analyzer, an advanced, high specification instrument for evaluating signals from 9kHz to 3GHz. The GA4063features an easy-to-use keypad and soft-key layout, and a large 8.5-inch (800×480) full-color widescreen TFT LCD display, making it a cost-effective, user-friendly benchtop spectrum tool suited to a variety of LF to RF application demands. Bandwidth resolution can be set from 1Hz to 3MHz in 1/3/10 sequence, with maximum input signal capability of +30dBm. The GA4063’s phase noise is a remarkably low -95dBc/Hz (offset10kHz), and displayed average noise level (DANL) specification is ?-130dBm?preamplifier off – 10MHz?2.5GHz ?-148dBm; preamplifier on – 10MHz?2.5GHz: typical -160dBm.)

Advanced measurements offered include: channel power, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, harmonic distortion, third-order intermodulation distortion, phase noise, etc. Other features include simultaneous trace displays, color display by bandwidth selection, waterfall plots, etc.

The GA4063 offers standard USB, LAN and RS232 communication interfaces, virtual terminal display, and control and remote network access is possible using custom or commonly-available vendor software. A useful pushbutton help system provides information about each function key and front-panel menu key. An optional 3GHz Tracking Generator version is also available.

Offering exceptional value and an economical price, the GA4063 is suited to electronics manufacturing, maintenance, RF education, and R&D situations. Included with the unit are a user guide, programming manual for automating operations, and an accessory kit. The GA4063 weighs 15.4 lbs and is a compact 16″w x 8″h x 7″d.

Made by the Gratten division of Atten, a leading-edge test equipment design house, theGA4063 is available now from Atten’s USA distributor Saelig Company. Inc.
