Lintech Components continues to demonstrate their commitment to quality by obtaining The Components Technology Institute’s Latest Certification Program for avoiding counterfeit components.

RONKONKOMA, NY – Lintech Components one of the world’s largest independent distributors of semiconductors ,integrated circuits and passive components today announced its certification to the Counterfeit Components Avoidance Procedures (CCAP). The CCAP-101 Certified ProgramTM CR was developed by the Components Technology Institute, Inc. (CTI) to define mandatory practices for use by independent distributors to detect and avoid the delivery of counterfeit components to OEM customers.  Mr. Hamiter stated CTI Inc. is “pleased to welcome Lintech Components to an exclusive group of distributors to become CCAP-101 Certified.”

Lintech Components is among an exclusive group to become CCAP-101 Certified. “Lintech has continued its investment in quality assurance processes to ensure that our customers receive only the highest quality and most dependable parts in the industry with the latest equipment and the most sophisticated counterfeit detection capabilities available”, said Ken Linden, President of Lintech Components.  “Our processes together with our staff of highly trained counterfeit detection specialists, enables us to demonstrate to CTI that we are capable of processing components to the standards set forth in the CCAP-101 Certification Program.  

While counterfeit electronic components pose a major challenge to the electronics industry, certifications such as the CCAP-101 help to make dependable practices an industry standard.
