Buffalo Launches Powerline AirStation NFINITI Range

London, UK – 10 April, 2012 – Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage and wireless networking solutions, is today announcing the launch of two products which allow users to expand their home network without running wires. The PL-05H Powerline adapter and WPL-05G300 Powerline, Router and Wireless Access Point create high speed internet connections anywhere in the home.

The PL-05H Powerline adapter allows users to easily establish a broadband network by simply plugging the adapter into an electrical outlet. By using next generation PLC 500Mbps chips, the Powerline adapter provides speeds up to 1.89 times faster than the previous 200Mbps products. The Buffalo Powerline adapter is powerful enough to transmit 3D movies to every room in a house and allows computers, laptops, game consoles as well as Internet TVs and hard drive recorders to be added to the network.

The WPL-05G300 Powerline, Router and Wireless Access Point, provides users with an all-in-one solution to extend the coverage of a wireless network, using an electricity grid at home. With the Wi-Fi roaming function, users can create a Wi-Fi environment for notebooks, tablets, and mobile devices, providing seamless roaming, allowing movement between first and second floor levels in a building without having to reset the connection.

“Buffalo has always been at the forefront of wireless technology, proven by the delivery of the first Draft G and Draft N wireless products to the market,” says Paul Hudson, Sales Director for Northern Europe at Buffalo Technology. “The launch of the Powerline AirStation NFINITI range is demonstration of Buffalo’s ongoing commitment to innovation, engineering excellence and enabling consumers to use current and future technology in the home.”
