Excelsys Xlite – Most Compact 750W Output Configurable Power Supply in Its Class 200-750W output

The Xlite series of user configurable modular power supplies is part of the Excelsys Technologies class-leading Xgen range and provides up to 750W output power in a slim-line 1U, 40.4 x 260 x 89mm package. Offering users up to 8 isolated outputs the Xlite family is the most compact and flexible power supply in its class and brings affordable configurable power to the 200-750W market. The complete Xgen series is now available with conformal coating for protection against harsh environments making them suitable for MIL-COTS applications.

Excelsys is recognised as one of the world leading specialists in high efficiency power supplies and their Xlite power supply series is the slimmest 750W configurable power supply on the market which, with its unrivalled power density can save designers valuable system space. Combined with ultra-high efficiencies up to 89%, the Xlite family provides system designers with flexible instant power solutions that significantly simplify and shorten system design times.

The Xlite family consists of 4 powerPac models in 200W, 400W, 600W and 750W power levels.  Each Xlite powerPac model may be populated with up to 4 powerMods which have isolated outputs and may be connected in series or parallel for further flexibility. The standard range of PowerMods output converters for the Xlite platform offer nominal outputs of 2.5, 5, 12, 24 and 48VDC, and a dual 24V output module. All outputs have a wide range of adjustment

The Excelsys Xlite has internal cooling fans, a 5VDC bias voltage for system administration and front panel LEDs provide a visual indication of system status. A universal 85-264VAC input range is standard as is over voltage protection and the full load operating temperature range is from -20 to +70°C.

Standard features include; 800W peak power, extra low profile 1U height (40mm), all outputs fully floating, ultra-high efficiency, up to 89%, plug and play power allows fast custom configuration, few electrolytic capacitors (all long life), visual LED indicators, series/parallel of multiple outputs, 5V bias standby voltage, individual output control signals

Typical applications for the Excelsys Xlite power supply series include; industrial machines, test and measurement systems, automation equipment, printing and MIL-COTS applications

For more information on the Excelsys Xlite and the complete Xgen power supply family visit www.excelsys.com and to configure a new custom power solution complete the simple EXCELerate design wizard. The final design is given a unique part number which may then be ordered from Excelsys global distribution network.

Want early design analysis without simulation?

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Traditional verification methods are failing today's complex IC designs, which require a proactive, early-stage analysis approach. A shift-left methodology addresses IP block integration challenges and the limitations of traditional simulation and ERC tools. Insight Analyzer detects hard-to-find leakage issues across power domains, enabling early analysis without full simulation. Identify inefficiencies earlier to reduce rework, improve reliability, and enhance power performance.
