450 Watt 3×5” Power Supply for Medical and Industrial Application

TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TPP 450A series, a 450 watt family of power supplies in an open-frame, 3×5” package featuring 91%~94% efficiency. Full load operation from -40°C to +50°C (with airflow) and a leading conduction cooled rating, up to 320W at +50°C in a small 3×5” footprint.

The TPP 450A series consists of 6 single output models of (12~53 VDC). Standard features include; aux output of 5VSB / 2A and a 12V / 0.5 A for fan cooling, Remote Sense, Power Good and Remote On/Off. High grade components with an efficient design enable an extended operation temperature range of -40°C to +85°C while providing reliability of >400,000 hours (MIL-HDBK-217F) and further supported with an ISO 14971 Risk Management file and acceptance criteria according to IPC-A-610 Level 3. All supplies have double reinforced insulation, 4kVAC I/O isolation, 2.5kVAC output to field ground and <100uA Leakage Current. The series has medical IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition approval for 2xMOPP / BF rated applications, EMC compliance to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1-2 4th edition and meets EN 55032 level B for conducted emissions as well as UL 62368-1 for Industrial/ITE applications, CB Report (IEC 60601-1) and CE Mark (LVD). All models are backed by TRACO POWER’s 5 year warranty.

Products are in stock and available through the TRACO POWER global distribution network with manufacturing lead times of 12-14 weeks. Please see www.tracopower.com  for specifications, drawings and safety documentation.
