SRT thick-film resistors from Rhopoint for high-value and high-voltage applications

High Voltage, High Ohmic Value, High Temperature Thick Film Resistors

Rhopoint Components the  specialist distributor  of precision electronic components, sensors, connectors and modular systems, announce the availability of  thick-film resistors designed for high-value and high-voltage applications from SRT Resistor Technology. The SRT product range includes high-value chip resistors, leaded HV resistors and chip-based voltage divider solutions with resistance values extending into the TΩ region.

The SRT resistor portfolio has been developed specifically for demanding applications such as high-impedance measurement circuits or high-voltage electronics where leakage behaviour, voltage stability and long-term drift directly influence system performance. The main application for these products is detection and amplification of low signals in industrial electronics  .

SRT Resistor Technology products offer:

  • High ohmic resistors, up to 10TΩ, and high voltage resistors in both SMD and through-hole packages
  • High temperature variants available with operating temperatures up to +300°C
  • High voltage resistors with operating voltages up to 6000 Volt (SMD) and 80 kV (leaded)
  • Non-magnetic models available
  • Custom voltage dividers and resistor networks options

SRT Resistor Technology GmbH, was founded in 1996  and during the last 10 years they have established a leading position on the world market for their High Value Resistors. Other important products from RST are non-magnetic resistors for Medical Electronics and glueable chip resistors for the Automotive Electronics.

For UK OEMs, the combination of SRT Resistor Technology and Rhopoint’s local technical support and robust supply chain brings a clear competitive edge: faster design cycles, reduced design risk, and higher confidence in long‑term field performance.

Rhopoint is an authorised partner for over twenty-five industry-leading manufacturers from around the world offering an extensive range of stocked lines and fully customised solutions to meet customer requirements. With highly skilled field-based sales engineers, technical expertise is backed by an efficient sales and distribution operation, covering their entire product range, from their UK based facility.

Traditional verification methods are failing today's complex IC designs, which require a proactive, early-stage analysis approach. A shift-left methodology addresses IP block integration challenges and the limitations of traditional simulation and ERC tools. Insight Analyzer detects hard-to-find leakage issues across power domains, enabling early analysis without full simulation. Identify inefficiencies earlier to reduce rework, improve reliability, and enhance power performance.
