Samtec’s mPOWER Ultra Micro Power Connectors Now at Mouser

Connector System Supports up to 21A in Space-Saving 2mm Pitch

May 10, 2019 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the mPOWER™ ultra-micro power connector system from Samtec. Offering current ratings up to 21 A per blade in a 2 mm pitch, mPOWER connectors provide an ultra-small, high-power solution with exceptional design flexibility for power-only or power-and-signal applications.

Samtec’s mPOWER connector system, available from Mouser Electronics, features gold-plated power blades and frees board space compared to other 21 A solutions. Engineers can use mPOWER as a standalone high-power solution or with one of Samtec’s high-speed connector systems, such as SEARAY™ or Tiger Eye™, for a unique two-piece power and signal/ground solution.

With stack heights from 5 mm to 12 mm, mPOWER can be easily added to new or existing architectures. Further design flexibility is available with a choice of 2, 3, 4, or 5 power blades, each of which has two-stage mating and can be selectively loaded to achieve any specific creepage and clearance requirements.
