Now Available at Crowd Supply: Piunora, a User-Friendly Development Board for Space-Constrained Electronics and ML Applications

March 31, 2021 – Crowd Supply, the leading product development platform connecting hardware creators with early adopters and enthusiastic backers, announces the launch of Piunora, a Raspberry Pi CM4 development board that supports rapid electronics prototyping with Linux. Piunora features a USB-Type C port wired for both data- and power-related functions, capable of interfacing with any modern USB port rated for 900mA or above. With legible pin labels and an Arduino UNO R3- and Adafruit Metro-compatible form factor, Piunora is ideal for a broad range of space-constrained electronics applications.

Piunora, developed by Diodes Delight and launched with support from Crowd Supply, features multiple key peripherals to support embedded machine learning applications, including camera input connectors for Pi-compatible cameras and an HDMI port. The board features a powerful SoC, six ADC inputs to enable the use of analog signals and a Qwiic port, which allows easy connection of a wide range of I2C sensors from Adafruit, Sparkfun, and others. Piunora’s USB capabilities allow it to be used by simply plugging it into a computer, while Adafruit Blinka allows Piunora to be used like any other CircuitPython development board. Piunora also features a WS2812 Smart RGB LED for user status.
