Newark Launches New Power Management Hub

Customers can now access all their power management needs, including featured products, educational resources and interactive content

Chicago – February 9, 2022: Newark, an Avnet Company and global distributor of electronic components, products and solutions, has launched a comprehensive new online hub for power management technology and solutions.

Customers can access the hub for new featured products and applications and learn more about power management through engaging content and resources such as videos, articles, and training modules. Additionally, customers will find a wide range of power management solutions from market-leading manufacturers such as ABB, Eaton and Molex.

Power management allows for improved control of energy expenditures, increased safety and environmental effect mitigation. It provides a highly integrated, high-performance architecture for a broad range of application categories, such as storage computing, networking, telecommunications, automotive, and consumer electronics.

Newark’s expanded power management offering now includes tens of thousands of products, such as:

  • DRB series three phase power suppliers from TDK Lambda: Compact DIN rail power supplies available in two power levels, 120W and 240W and provide 12, 24, and 48V outputs with up to 94% efficiency. Key benefits include reduced operating costs and improved thermal performance, as well as reduced footprint on the DIN rail due to compact size.
  • LCW Series 15W-320W AC-DC power supplies from XP Power: Compact, enclosed, wide input 85-305VAC power supplies for embedded applications requiring power options from 15-100W and with PFC 150-320W. The LCW Series is low-cost and appropriate for industrial processes, signage, lighting systems, home and office applications, heating and ventilation, security, EV charging and much more.
  • SDN-D Rail Power Supplies from SolaHD: High-performance unit in a compact package with optional network communications modules available. This series boasts one of the highest efficiencies available in the market today, ideal for use in industrial automation, process control, material handling and hazardous locations.
