IK Multimedia announces ARC X Immersive, the latest expansion of its ARC room correction technology, extending accurate, automated calibration from stereo and stereo-plus-sub systems to full immersive monitoring setups up to 9.1.6. ARC X Immersive is available as an update within ARC X, allowing qualifying users to access immersive capabilities within their existing installation.

Designed for modern immersive workflows, ARC X Immersive simplifies one of the most complex and error-prone aspects of multichannel production. It ensures consistent, accurate performance across an entire speaker system.

By bringing measurement, alignment, and correction together within a single integrated system, ARC X Immersive transforms any room into a reliable reference environment, with improved spatial accuracy and more reliable translation across playback systems.

A complete system, working as one

In many immersive studios, calibration is still performed manually using SPL meters, basic EQ, and iterative adjustments – a process that is time-consuming and often incomplete.

ARC X Immersive replaces this with a fully automated workflow that measures and calibrates the entire speaker array as a single system. It precisely aligns level, timing, and phase across all channels while applying full-range room correction, ensuring consistent tonal balance and accurate spatial imaging.

The result is faster setup, improved accuracy, and mixes that translate more reliably across playback environments.

Built for real-world studios
ARC X Immersive is engineered to deliver reliable results even in non-ideal environments where speaker placement and room conditions are less than perfect.

Calibration is stored and processed directly on ARC-enabled iLoud monitors or via ARC Studio for third-party systems, ensuring correction is always active regardless of the DAW or playback source.

Built on ARC technology refined since 2007, the system provides repeatable, consistent calibration across any supported setup.
