element14 community launches new essential learning module on Time of Flight Sensors

With distance measurement and range detection methods continuing to be popular in most engineering fields, including robotics, presence detection, optical navigation, medical tech, automotive applications and more, element14, an Avnet community, is offering a new essentials course on time of Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors. The course goes into detail on what the sensors can offer, and what conditions work best.

The course discusses the basic concept of ToF sensors, methods to measure the time of flight, the different techniques in range sensing, the challenges and designs of ToF sensors, and a few use case applications.

Want early design analysis without simulation?

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Traditional verification methods are failing today's complex IC designs, which require a proactive, early-stage analysis approach. A shift-left methodology addresses IP block integration challenges and the limitations of traditional simulation and ERC tools. Insight Analyzer detects hard-to-find leakage issues across power domains, enabling early analysis without full simulation. Identify inefficiencies earlier to reduce rework, improve reliability, and enhance power performance.
