Altium to Showcase Altium Designer 18 and PDN Analyzer at Embedded World 2018 Conference & Exhibition

Altium LLC, the Global Provider of Innovative Electronic Design Solutions, to Exhibit Latest Version of Leading PCB Design Software Altium Designer® 18 and Visual Power Analysis Application PDN Analyzer™ at the 2018 Embedded World Exhibition & Conference in Nuremberg, DE.

San Diego, Calif. – 27, February, 2018 – With over a thousand exhibitors from across the globe representing all spectrums of the embedded sector, Altium, a global leader in PCB design software, is set to appear at the 2018 Embedded World Exhibition & Conference in Nuremberg, Germany. This year’s trade show will take place February 27 – March 1, showcasing thousands of exhibitors, live presentations, and groundbreaking embedded design solutions for attendees to experience firsthand.

At this year’s event, Altium will showcase its latest and most significant product release to date: Altium Designer 18. In addition, Altium will introduce the new and improved visual power analysis application PDN Analyzer, which gives designers unprecedented control over their power delivery networks with the freedom to continuously analyze and modify multiple networks within Altium Designer. Embedded World 2018 will be the first opportunity to see this product and feature in action since its December release, with a live exhibit and presentation over the course of this special 3-day exposition.

Altium Continues to Focus on Delivering Value
As the industry’s first true overhaul to electronics system design since 2002, Altium Designer 18 is pushing PCB design forward with the most advanced, cutting-edge engineering solutions in the PCB design space. As an accompanying feature, Altium will also provide a comprehensive look at PDN Analyzer, an integrated functionality available as part of the Altium Designer package. Altium users now have the ability to simultaneously implement multi-network simulations (as opposed to single networks) and other advanced features like current direction indication, sortable simulation reports, and hierarchical network management all within their design tool.

“Our success is predicated on users choosing our software because it consistently meets their design needs,” said Lawrence Romine, Global Head of Field Marketing at Altium. “Altium Designer 18 represents the next generation of that. We wanted to develop the most user-centric, productivity-focused professional PCB design tool available, and by leveraging their feedback we were able to accomplish that.”
New Visual Power Analysis capabilities for Altium Designer

With Altium’s PDN Analyzer, users can now have greater control over their power distribution networks and can immediately identify and resolve power issues within their PCB design. These new integrated visual power analysis capabilities allow users to visually comprehend and easily manage their multi-network DC voltage and current density from the convenience of their design environment, as well as rerun simulations and test modifications without interrupting their design workflows .

Embedded World 2018
Embedded World takes place February 27 – March 1. Altium will have a joint presentation at the event with Andreas Doering of IBM Research and Rainer Asfalg, Global Head of Technical Sales and Support at Altium, titled, “PCB Design Problems and Solutions for Embedded Supercomputing.” The Altium display will be located in Hall 4 – Booth 4-240.
