ADLINK Debuting Faster, More Accurate Logistics with Edge IoT Smart Pallet Experience at Pack Expo Las Vegas

Interactive exhibit shows how pallets can “talk” and robots “come alive” with Edge IoT to improve speed, accuracy and productivity

ADLINK Edge™ and ADLINK Vortex DDS™ Edge IoT solutions make digital and analog assets intelligent, including pallets and robots who can communicate and collaborate

  • Through a fun, interactive exhibit of palletizing and picking, attendees can see how ADLINK’s leading Edge IoT technology supports increased accuracy, speed, and productivity
  • Attendees can participate by loading pallets and racing the clock for a chance to win $100 Visa gift cards and interact with Rover the Robot to receive a t-shirt at ADLINK’s booth

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Aug. 19, 2019 – ADLINK’s IoT Solutions and Technology division will be debuting the Edge IoT Smart Pallet Experience at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2019 featuring a game-like exhibit where attendees can get hands-on with Edge IoT technology that makes pallets “smart” and robots “come alive.” Booth visitors can stack pallets and race the clock for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card and meet Rover the Robot who will be giving booth visitors free t-shirts.

“Our Edge IoT solutions can help make conveyors smart, find missing inventory, automate bin picking, determine fill levels, connect robots and more − all in real-time,” says Daniel Collins, ADLINK IoT Director for North America. “By bringing AI to the edge we’re helping to automate warehouse logistics in a quick and cost-effective way that increases productivity and employee ergonomics. One of our customers decreased the time it takes to build a pallet by 41%, increasing total daily throughput by 200% without disrupting the way employees are used to working.”

The immersive experience will demonstrate machine vision, AI and robotics technology for warehouse distribution and manufacturing with partners Amazon Web Services (AWS), Intel’s IoT group, and robot maker Rover Robotics. Attendees can interact with ADLINK Edge™ and ADLINK Vortex DDS™ to experience first-hand how to quickly solve AI and vision-based IoT challenges.

ADLINK Edge and ADLINK Vortex DDS make pallets and robots intelligent so they can communicate with the world around them, enabling customers to increase pallet profitability, quality inspection, automation, and productivity within the distribution center and manufacturing floor.

Attendees can reserve a spot in advance or stop by the ADLINK booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Level 1, Lower South Hall #6387, September 23-25, for the Edge IoT Smart Pallet Experience: racing to clear a pallet manifest for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card and meet Rover the Robot. ADLINK is offering free passes to Pack Expo Las Vegas 2019 to anyone who wishes to visit the Edge IoT Smart Pallet experience with full access to the entire expo.
