Avalue introduces Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family Embedded Board – ECM-BSW and tiny embedded system – EPC-BSW

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, December 22nd, 2015 – Avalue Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 3479-TW), a global embedded solution provider and an associate member of the Intel® Internet of Things Solutions Alliance, is introducing the Intel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family Embedded Board –ECM-BSW and tiny embedded system – EPC-BSW. TheIntel® Pentium®/Celeron® processor N3000 family are based on Intel’s 14nm architecture for entry systems, which is proved 2x graphics performance improvement, Up to 16% battery life improvement, better I/O support, and better performance at low thermals with previous generations.

ECM-BSW 3.5-inch Single Board Computer supports one 204-pin DDR3L SODIMM socket supports Up to 8GB DDR3L 1600 SDRAM capacity. ECM-BSW offers a multiplicity of I/O involving 2 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.0, 1 x SATA III, 1 x RS-232/422/485, 4 x RS-232, 8bit GPIO, 1 x LPC and 1 x SPI. For the expansion slot, comes with 2 x Mini PCIe, 1 x Full-size Mini PCIe with mSATA Supported and 1 x Half-size Mini PCIe. ECM-BSW supports dual display LVDS + HDMI with resolutions of HDMI: 1920×1080 @ 60Hz and LVDS: 1920×1080 @ 60Hz. ECM-BSWhas dual Gigabit Ethernet: 2 x RealTek RTL8119I and the audio interface is provided with 1 x Realtek ALC233 which supports 2.1-CH. ECM-BSW is designed to fulfill the needs of the following markets: Kiosk & Vending machine, Entry POS & ATMs, Automotive Retail, Medical, Security & Surveillance and In-Vehicle Infotainment.

EPC-BSW Fanless tiny system supports one 204-pin SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB DDR3L 1333MHz SDRAM capacity. EPC-BSW offers rich I/O ports involving 2 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.0, 1 x RS-232/422/485, 4 x RS-232, 2 x Mini PCIe, 1 x mSATA and 1 x 2.5” Drive Bay (7mm HDD Restricted). EPC-BSW has dual Gigabit Ethernet: 2 x RealTek RTL8119I and display with resolutions of HDMI mode: 1920 x 1080 @ 30Hz. Audio interface is provided with 1 x Realtek ALC233 which supports 2.1-CH. Main focus applications as Multi-Function Computing, Space critical, Thin Client, Smarter Conference Rooms, Dynamic Digital Signage, Reliable and Affordable Video Surveillance and Digital Kiosk Building Block.
