Avnet and Digi International Announce Expanded Global Distribution Agreement

PHOENIX & MINNETONKA, Minn.—November 3, 2015Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), a leading global technology distributor, and Digi International®, (NASDAQ: DGII, www.digi.com), a leading global provider of mission-critical machine-to-machine (M2M) and IoT connectivity products and services, today announced an expanded, global distribution agreement. Under this new agreement, Digi’s complete product and services portfolio is now available through Avnet Electronics Marketing’s global network. As a result, design engineers around the world now have access to the full range of Digi’s products and wireless design services through one of the world’s largest electronic components distributors.

Avnet Electronics Marketing serves electronics original equipment manufacturers and electronic manufacturing services providers globally, distributing electronic components and embedded systems from leading manufacturers, and providing design-chain and supply-chain services.

Digi provides wireless M2M connectivity that delivers the reliability, scalability, security, and bulletproof performance needed to build and deploy critical infrastructures in challenging environments. Digi’s M2M products include embedded system-on-modules; RF products, including XBee® modules, gateways, modems, adapters, range extenders and sensors; Digi Transport® cellular gateways/routers; and Rabbit modules and single-board computers.
