Tool cabinets and tool modules from RS Components enhance workplace for industrial engineering professionals

OXFORD, UK, 4 June, 2015 – RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the global distributor for engineers, has announced an extensive new portfolio of high-quality RS brand tool cabinets and modules that come without the premium brand price tag. An electrician perth will be able to shed more light on these products. These products offer a highly professional solution for electrical engineers, professional mechanics and maintenance engineers working in environments such as garages, workshops and factories. The range includes an extensive selection of toolset modules, tool cabinets and two new full toolkits, making it exceptionally easy to select a trolley type and a suite of tools to suit individual user requirements.

There are 18 tool modules available in the new RS branded range with options such as a 39-piece screwdriver and bit set, 29-piece socket set and a 16-piece spanner set, as well as other modules including pliers, crimpers/strippers, files and hex keys among others. All the toolsets, which have also been designed for use in the RS brand mobile tool cabinets and chests, are stored in double-colour EVA-foam material modules and feature individual cut-outs for each tool, so it is easy to spot if a tool is missing.

The new range of tool cabinets includes a trio of robust roller units comprising two seven-drawer cabinets and a top-of-the-range 11-drawer unit, all featuring heavy-duty oil-proof wheels. Also available are: a five-compartment EVA foam drawer module, which is especially useful for the storage of small tools, fasteners and fixings; and a four-drawer steel tool chest offering high strength and durability.

Rounding out the portfolio are two new RS branded toolkits including: a 43-piece kit that comprises tools such as screwdrivers, pliers and spanners, as well as chisels, a hammer and a hacksaw; and a 31-piece electrician’s toolkit that has a range of VDE 1000V insulated tools including pliers, a series of screwdrivers and a voltage tester.

All the tool cabinets and tool modules in the RS brand range are supplied with a three-year warranty.
