Linear Technology Showcases µModule Regulators, Silent Switcher & Ultralow Noise Linear Regulator at APEC 2015

MILPITAS, CA – March 12, 2015 – Linear Technology will demonstrate high performance analog technology and new power products at APEC 2015 in Charlotte, NC at the Charlotte Convention Center, March 16-18. Featured will be Linear Technology’s digital power system management (PSM) products for controlling and monitoring power supplies. Linear will also demo a new family of buck-boost µModule® regulators that simplify complex power circuits, and the LT8640, a 42V, 5A synchronous step-down switching regulator with Silent Switcher® architecture. The LT3042 20V, 200mA, ultralow noise, ultrahigh PSRR RF linear regulator will also be highlighted. APEC attendees should visit Linear’s booth #201 to see a working demo of PMBus/Linduino™, Linear Technology’s Arduino-compatible system for developing and distributing firmware libraries and example code for Linear’s integrated circuits.

Linear applications engineer Michael Jones will present at session IS3-“PMBus Firmware: Using Arduino for Prototyping & Designing PMBus Solutions” on Tuesday, March 17, 8:30 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. in room 208A.

Visitors to the Linear Technology booth can view videos of featured products and pick up the latest literature and data sheets. For more information on Linear, visit www.linear.com and on APEC 2015, go to www.apec-conf.org/.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
