Avnet Electronics Marketing Expands Antenna and Cable Offering in Americas with Taoglas USA, Inc. Deal

SAN DIEGO & PHOENIX—February 10, 2015Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), has entered into a distribution agreement with Taoglas USA, Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of M2M and IoT antenna and cable solutions. Avnet Electronics Marketing will now offer Taoglas’ extensive line of 3G, 4G, LTE and GNSS off-the-shelf and custom antenna solutions to device manufacturers and OEMs targeting M2M and IoT applications in the Americas.

Taoglas antennas are used by manufacturers to deliver wireless connectivity for devices in a growing range of markets, including telematics/automotive, smart-grid, metering/telemetry, home automation, remote monitoring and telemedical.
