Keysight Technologies Selected by Bosch to Equip New AE InnoLab with Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment

SANTA ROSA, Calif., Nov. 25, 2014 – Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced that it was selected by Robert Bosch GmbH to equip the new AE InnoLab in Reutlingen, Germany. This brings expert knowledge, agile minds and optimal working conditions together in a laboratory setting equipped with unique technology capabilities.

The Bosch AE InnoLab grand opening was held on Nov. 21, 2014 and hosted by Klaus Meder, president, Automotive Electronics (AE), Robert Bosch GmbH, and Sigi Gross, vice president and general manager, Keysight’s Electronic Test Division. Together they underlined the importance of collaboration for real innovation to address new technology research fields such as IoT (Internet of Things), building and energy systems, car networking and component solutions.

“We believe developing partnerships with key industry players is essential to enable new technology roll-outs in a timely manner,” said Sigi Gross. “We are inspired by Bosch’s AE InnoLab concept, where engineers from all over the world come together to unleash their full innovative potential. We are here to support them locally, but our global experts will be working with them as well.”

Keysight is offering an innovative product portfolio, broad application expertise and a collaborative approach to shorten development cycles.

The AE InnoLab Electronic Test Environment

Each work environment at AE CreationCenter is equipped with the following Keysight instruments: 1) TrueForm waveform generator, 2) aTrueVolt digital multimeter, 3) an Infiniium S-Series mixed signal oscilloscope, 4) a DC power analyzer and 5) a handheld digital multimeter. KeysightBenchVue, a software platform that delivers new ways of local bench and team collaboration, is used to integrate the entire environment with one graphical user interface, thus supporting the collaborative and agile innovation work in the lab.
