Real Intent to Exhibit at First DVCon India

Who: Real Intent, whose digital verification solutions accelerate electronic design sign-off, eliminate complex failures in systems-on-chip (SoCs), and lead the market in performance, capacity, accuracy and completeness

What: Will exhibit its Ascent and Meridian products at the Design & Verification Conference & Exhibition India (DVCon India 2014) debut in Bangalore.  Ajit Edlabadkar, director at Intrinsic Solutions – Real Intent’s distribution partner for India – will be on hand to show and discuss these advanced verification solutions. Ascent  products improve QoR and productivity of design teams by finding elusive bugs and getting rid of sources of uncertainty that are difficult to uncover using traditional Verilog or VHDL simulation.  Meridian products accelerate sign-off verification of clock domain crossings and SDC in 500+M gate SoC designs.

DVCon is sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, an independent, not-for profit organization dedicated to creating design and verification standards required by systems, semiconductor, intellectual property (IP) and electronic design automation (EDA) companies. This year marks the first time in more than 20 years that the conference traditionally held in Silicon Valley will be presented in India and Europe as well.

DVCon India provides a unique opportunity for the international engineering community to share knowledge, experience and best practices covering Electronic System Level Design & Verification for IP and SOC, VIP development and Virtual Prototyping for Embedded Software development and debug. The scope of this vendor-neutral conference has increased to include all Accellera standards – UVM, SystemC (and its variants like SystemC-AMS, SCV, CCI, Synthesis subset), SystemVerilog, PSL, Assertions for AMS, Verilog, IP-XACT, OCP and many more.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
