Mouser Sponsors World’s Largest Summit on Energy Harvesting

November 4, 2013 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., a leading engineering resource and global distributor for semiconductors and electronic components, today announced they will be a major sponsor and participant of the Energy Harvesting & Storage USA 2013 event, set for Nov. 20-21 in Santa Clara, California.

Energy Harvesting & Storage USA 2013 is the world’s largest event on Energy Harvesting and Storage Technologies. The conference focuses on critical areas of efficient energy harvesting, including products and techniques which minimize losses and increase efficiency.  The conference also highlights the use of supercapacitors which store the converted energy and the Internet of Things (IoT) which enables an energy harvesting and storage system to power telemetry data to remote locations including the cloud for post processing and actionable intelligence.

The event will focus on science and technology from world-leading companies and research institutes, including: energy harvesting technologies (including thermoelectric, piezoelectric, photovoltaic, electromagnetic, wireless power transfer and multi modal versions); thin film batteries and super capacitors; new manufacturing techniques; ultralow power electronics and power management, and wireless sensor technologies including RFID, IoT, RTLS and WSN at different protocols.

Mouser Electronics’ representatives will be at Booth M03 answering questions and displaying the newest technologies from its vast lineup of more than 500 manufacturers, all available at Mouser.com.

“Advancing technological innovation is at the heart of what we do here at Mouser,” said Kevin Hess, Mouser Electronics’ Vice President of Technical Marketing. “We are very pleased to support this leading edge technology event and support the development of electronics design engineers working in this field. Achieve Greater Design Flexibility and Reduce Costs with Chiplets

Sponsored by Keysight

Chiplets are a new way to build a system-on-chips (SoCs) to improve yields and reduce costs. It partitions the chip into discrete elements and connects them with a standardized interface, enabling designers to meet performance, efficiency, power, size, and cost challenges in the 5 / 6G, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual reality (VR) era. This white paper will discuss the shift to chiplet adoption and Keysight EDA's implementation of the communication standard (UCIe) into the Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS).
