PCB Piezotronics Introduces Miniature Precision Pressure Sensor

October 18, 2013, Depew, N.Y., USA –  PCB Automotive Sensors, a division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., introduces a miniature pressure sensor for achieving highly accurate pressure measurements in thermodynamic applications such as engine and powertrain development.

The Model 115A04 sensor offers a measurement range up to 3,500 psi (241 bar), and includes naturally stable sensing elements, which enable it to provide precise measurements in thermodynamic applications where there are rapidly changing temperatures, and pressure fluctuations over a wide amplitude and frequency range.

This charge output sensor comes in a miniature M5 package with a one-meter, oil-resistant, removable cable and accessories. Its miniature size makes it a versatile sensor suitable for use in engines where size or complex cylinder head geometry restricts available space. The sensor’s stainless steel housing and welded hermetic diaphragm help ensure durability in harsh testing environments.

Like all PCB®  sensors and instrumentation, the miniature precision pressure sensor is complemented  with toll-free applications assistance and 24-hour customer service, and is backed by a no-risk policy that guarantees total customer satisfaction. For technical information, pleasecontact the Director of Sales and Marketing, Bill Berghoffat PCB Automotive Division located in Farmington Hills, Mich. at (716) 684-0002, or by email at wberghoff@pcb.com.
