Freescale Freedom development platform KL26Z new from Newark element14

October 15, 2013 – CHICAGO – Newark element14 will stock the new Freescale Semiconductor Freedom development platform KL26Z, designed to assist engineers in the evaluation of KL26 and KL16 devices.

Available for $15 through Newark element14 in North America, the KL26Z is for low-power consumption devices with high processing demands, supplying 32-bit processing power alongside a broad set of analog, communication, timing and control peripherals. The KL26 offers the highest memory and pin counts of the KL2x range of devices, and a full-speed USB 2.0 “On-The-Go” controller with integrated low-voltage regulator. 

Other features include 128 KB flash memory, 12-bit DAC, 16-bit ADC and standard communication peripherals, including I2S. Onboard extras include a capacitive touch slider, 6-Axis Xtrinsic Sensor with Integrated Linear Accelerometer and Magnetometer, tri-color LED and Arduino form factor compatible headers.
