MBtech Chooses the VectorCAST Embedded Software Testing Platform for ISO 26262 Validation

Providence, RI – 22 JUL 2013 – Vector Software, the leading provider of dynamic software testing solutions for embedded systems, announced today that MBtech, an internationally leading engineering and consulting service provider in the automotive and aerospace industry, has selected the VectorCAST platform for development of their Smart Connectivity Hub embedded system.

The Smart Connectivity Hub from MBtech is an embedded system that makes it possible to integrate mobile communication into various aspects of work and life. The Smart Connectivity Hub was designed as a universal gateway that allows the establishment of a secure remote connection with the network topology of a vehicle or other networked devices. The Smart Connectivity Hub allows users to access various vehicle functions such as audio and comfort controls via mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet.

The VectorCAST platform is a family of products that automates testing activities across the software development lifecycle and has been TÜV SÜD certified for ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 software development since 2010.
