4x 100G OTN Transponder on a single Virtex-7 FPGA

  • This demonstration showcases the Xilinx 400G capacity OTN one-chip solution and features 13.1 Gbps (GTH) transceivers that provide robust performance at line rates that exceed ASSP and competitive offerings. This compact, cost-effective OTN solution incorporates fullyfeatured 4x 100G Transponder SmartCORE IPs, enabling customers to build smarter solutions that address their market needs for 100G and 400G+ line cards.

High Density 100G Line Card Direct Connection to Finisar CFP2 Optical Modules

  • Xilinx will demonstrate interoperability between its Virtex-7 HT FPGA integrating up to 16x 28 Gbps (GTZ) transceivers and a Finisar CFP2 optical module running at 25.7 Gbps.  This demonstration illustrates 2X the 100G port density over the current CFP optical module and showcases real-world integration of 100G networking systems which result in reduced footprint, power and cost.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
