Saelig Introduces 3GHz Spectrum Analyzer/RF Trainer Combo

Fairport, NY, USA: Saelig Company, Inc.(www.saelig.com) has introduced the GW RF Trainer Bundle, consisting of a GWInstek GSP-730 – an entry-level 3 GHz Spectrum Analyzer, and aGWInstek GRF-1300 – an RF test signal generator, forming a basic RF communication experimental trainer. This is an economical educational tool for introducing frequency domain, time domain, and spectrum analyzer basic principles, and has been developed to meet the demands of budget-constrained RF Communication education needs

The GSP-730 Spectrum Analyzer has a frequency range of 150kHz to 3GHz and forms the basis for an advanced education module for mobile communication protocols, including GSM, 3G, 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and RFID. The GRF-1300 is a versatile companion RF training tool, able to generate a baseband signal and an RF carrier signal for AM and FM communications. The baseband signal outputs include sine, triangle, and square waveforms from 100kHz to 3MHz, and RF sinewaves from 870MHz to 920MHz with AM and FM modulation. Five programmable on/off switches and five test points are also provided to simulate eight failure conditions for trouble-shooting experiments.

A PC-connected GW RF Trainer Bundle forms an integrated teaching system to perform and demonstrate real-time experiments. The instructor can present visual teaching material and simultaneously control the GSP-730/GRF-1300 combination to perform experiments and display spectrum outputs and parameter readings via the GSP-730’s VGA output port. Teaching material, remote control software and student and teacher’s textbooks are available to support this teaching system.

The combination of GSP-730 and GRF-1300 forms a versatile, inexpensive training system for RF communication and telecommunication classes in the universities, colleges, vocational schools, and the training centers of military and private companies.

The GW RF Trainer Bundle is available now from Saelig Company, Inc. from $1398.00. For detailed specifications, free technical assistance, or additional information, please contact Saelig at (585) 385-1750, via email: info@saelig.com, or by visitingwww.saelig.com.
