Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas to Distribute Sensor Solutions from Measurement Specialties, Inc.

PHOENIX—November 7, 2012 — Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced it has inked a distribution agreement with Measurement Specialties, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEAS), a leader in the design and manufacture of sensors and sensor-based systems marketed under the MEAS brand. The agreement provides Avnet’s customers in the industrial, medical, defense/aerospace, test and measurement and transportation markets with a broad portfolio of packaged sensors.
