Saelig’s New Range of PCIe Digital I/O Cards

Pittsford, NY, USA: Saelig Company, Inc. announces the launch of the newest addition to its digital I/O data acquisition product range, the PCIe-200 series. These new high performance PCIe-format digital I/O data acquisition cards implement the high-bandwidth advantage of the PCI Express x1 interface for large scale data transfer, low latency, and low power consumption.

Designed to meet stringent performance requirements, the PCIe-200 cards feature guaranteed measurement accuracy and are ideal for a wide range of applications such as scientific research, laboratory/building automation, design validation, manufacturing test & measurement and embedded OEM applications.

The new series comprises three different cards: PCIe-215PCIe-236 and PCIe-296which feature 48, 24 and 96 bits of programmable parallel digital I/O at up to 6MHz, with up to six crystal-controlled 16-bit counter timers. Users can cost effectively migrate to this PCIe form factor seamlessly as these new DIO series are backward compatible with existing Amplicon PCI-200 series DIO Boards. PCIe-200 boards are powered by the 3.3V supply from the host PC and this supply rail is also available for external use via the I/O connector.

The PCIe-200 series can be used in 32 & 64 bit Windows operating environments. Drivers are available for all popular high-level programming languages including, C#, VB/VB.NET, Delphi, Agilent VEE and Labview.

Made by Amplicon, Europe’s leading industrial computing and data acquisition provider, the PCIe-200 series is available now from Saelig Co. Inc. Pittsford NY.
