Accellera Systems Initiative Announces “Accellera Systems Initiative Day” at Its 2012 Design and Verification Conference and Exhibition (DVCon)

San Jose, California, USA, 7 February 2012—Accellera Systems Initiative™ announced today that it has put together a program of events for its Accellera Systems Initiative Day at its Design and Verification Conference and Exhibition (DVCon) on Monday, February 27, 2012. The sessions cover the latest developments related to the organization’s EDA and IP standards

Accellera Systems Initiative’s DVCon is the premier conference for functional electronic design and verification, focused on sharing information about technology, techniques, standards and methods.

Accellera Systems Initiative Day focuses on providing in depth knowledge for our emerging and established standards to our user community,” remarked Shishpal Rawat, Accellera Systems Initiative chair. “We are hosting a forum for SystemC™ users and conducting four tutorials on standards with sessions running concurrently throughout the day. We will also host an interactive dialogue with users to discuss What will success for the Accellera Systems Initiative look like? during the lunch break.

Accellera Systems Initiative Day” events include:

  • North American SystemC User Group (NASCUG) Meeting XVII
  • Tutorial: UVM™ (Universal Verification Methodology): Ready, Set, Deploy!
  • Sponsored Luncheon and Town Hall Meeting
  • Tutorial: An Introduction to IEEE 1666-2011, the New SystemC Standard
  • Tutorial: An Introduction to the Unified Coverage Interoperability Standard (UCIS™)
  • Tutorial: Verification and Automation Improvement Using IP-XACT™ with reception and poster session

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
