Intercept Technology’s Pantheon 7 PCB/Hybrid/RF Layout Software Shows Promise as a Power Hitter in the EDA Market

DESIGNCON 2012 – January 31, 2012 – Intercept Technology, Inc., a leader in PCB/Hybrid/RF electrical engineering applications, today announces that Pantheon 7 represents the pinnacle of any layout software available in the EDA market today. After proving its newest version in several major customers’ production design flows, the Pantheon 7 version is now promoted for Production level use for all customers. The last 15 years of Pantheon’s development as an advanced PCB/Hybrid/RF design application has converged with a modern user flow to provide major productivity increases for all engineers and designers.

A large group of current and prospective users participated in a Pantheon 7 Beta Team, during which many positive comments were made. “Our beta sites worked very closely with us to prove out Pantheon 7. We have received nothing but positive feedback, and we had several customers upgrade their production design teams to version 7 to complete projects more efficiently.” said Dale Hanzelka, Intercept’s Director of North American Sales. “We anticipate a lot of positive response from the EDA market at large.”

A monumental departure from its former version, the new Pantheon includes a completely redesigned user interface with significant performance and productivity increases across the entire design team user flow. Completing Intercept’s full redesign of its suite of software applications for the EDA industry, its flagship product, Pantheon, now includes similar user interface features previously made available in its schematic design and library management tools, Mozaix and Indx.

Pantheon 7’s Intercept-standard user interface features include:

  • Multi-window support for real-time edit and update of geometries on the board.
  • Project Explorer with quick access to board, block, component, net, and part references.
  • Quick Search Toolbar for quick entry and select of design objects
  • Undocked Toolbars for maximized edit window space, greater ease of use.
  • Window Control Toolbar to open/close windows and maximize edit window space.
  • Redesigned menu structure for faster and more intuitive user flow

Pantheon 7 is available to everyone and is considered ready for Production level PCB/Hybrid/RF design. Learn more at www.intercept.com.
