High Performance PC104, PC/104-Plus and PC-104-Express Boards and Systems

Northwich, Cheshire, December 2011 – Kane Computing Ltd (KCL) have joined forces with RTD Embedded Technologies Inc. to sell their range of high performance stackable boards and systems in the UK.

RTD Embedded Technologies Inc., a founder of the PC/104 Consortium specialises in the design and manufacture of PC/104, PC/104-Plus, PCI-104, PCI/104-Express, PCIe, desktop and 19-inch rack compliant modules and systems, addressing intelligent process control, data acquisition and processing, adaptive signal processing, video capture, telematics, wireless, field bus and power supply technologies.

Products include single board CPUs, DSP modules, power modules, analogue/digital I/O modules, video modules, peripheral modules, network modules and motion controllers. RTD’s expertise is in providing their PC104 solutions in rugged packaging for military and other hazardous applications. This is achieved by strict compliance with the IDAN® (Intelligent Data Acquisition Node) industry standard for PC104 packaging plus the HiDAN® and HiDANplus® standard where required.
