Apache TO Exhibit at Upcoming TSMC Open Innovation Platform Ecosystem Forum

Apache Design Inc., a subsidiary of ANSYS, today announced it will be exhibiting (booth #603) at the TSMC 2011 Open Innovation Platform (OIP) Ecosystem Forum, being held at the San Jose Convention Center on October 18, in San Jose, California. Apache will also be featured speaking in a technical session on “Emerging Challenges for Power, Signal, and Reliability Verification on 3D-IC/Silicon Interposer Designs,” at 4:00 p.m. in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Track.

As previously announced (June 30, 2011), Apache’s advanced products for 3D-IC/Silicon Interposer and analog/mixed-signal designs are part of TSMC’s reference flows for advanced 28-nanometer (nm) designs. In TSMC Reference Flow 12.0, Apache’s power, thermal and stress analysis products including RedHawkSentinelChip Power Model (CPM), and Chip Thermal Model (CTM) enable validation for 3D-IC/Silicon Interposer architectures. In TSMC’s Analog/Mixed-signal (AMS) Reference Flow 2.0, targeted for 28nm process technology, Apache’s Totem platform for power and noise analysis is included.
