EMA Updates Training for New OrCAD 16.5 Release

Rochester, NY (June 21, 2011) – EMA Design Automation™ (www.ema-eda.com), a full-service provider of mechanical and electrical CAD tools, today announced the availability of Cadence® OrCAD® 16.5 training to educate users on the robust features available in this new version. This training is meant to ensure that customers are getting the most value out of their PCB tools. The knowledge gained in the EMA training helps designers become more efficient and productive, which leads to a shorter design cycle and an overall cost savings.

“EMA training provides a unique hands-on experience for our customers,” said Manny Marcano, president and CEO of EMA. “Whether they are highly experienced or new to the PCB design world, they will walk away with new found knowledge and confidence to tackle their design issues.”

Classroom training in major U.S. cities, instructor led virtual training, and self-paced Internet classes are all available to meet the individual learning styles, schedules, and budgets. Onsite training is also available for companies that have a group of engineers they would like to train. A few hours of training can help save hundreds of hours during the design process.

Courses cover all major OrCAD flows including schematic design with OrCAD Capture, PCB Design with OrCAD PCB Designer, and analog simulation with PSpice. Most classes are also available in both beginner and advanced levels.

Want early design analysis without simulation?

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Traditional verification methods are failing today's complex IC designs, which require a proactive, early-stage analysis approach. A shift-left methodology addresses IP block integration challenges and the limitations of traditional simulation and ERC tools. Insight Analyzer detects hard-to-find leakage issues across power domains, enabling early analysis without full simulation. Identify inefficiencies earlier to reduce rework, improve reliability, and enhance power performance.
