Trash-collecting river robot can be controlled by anyone via the web

A new Kickstarter project aims to remove trash from the Chicago River by creating a remote-controlled floating garbage collector. Named Trash Robot, the machine can be controlled a web browser, so potentially anyone can take a turn doing their bit to clean up the river from anywhere in the world. Continue reading at NEW ATLAS
