NYC installs first interactive subway maps in Grand Central

Finding your way around New York City’s subway system is beginning to get a lot easier. The city’s first 18 interactive subway maps are now live throughout Grand Central, letting travelers plan their routes just by tapping a destination, look into points of interest, and view train arrivals, delays, and outages. The interactive maps are being called “MTA On-the-Go kiosks” and take the form of 47-inch touchscreens surrounded by large frames of ruggedized steel. Technology and design firm Control Group is responsible for creating them, and the MTA plans to continue installing the kiosks in major subway stations over the next few months.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
